The tab search feature in Microsoft Edge can be enabled in the following way. In Microsoft Edge, enable Tab Search. The public version of Edge has yet to receive Tab Search. While the feature is still in experimental, it is not yet available in Edge Flags. Thankfully, we have a method for enabling it in Edge for Windows machines, which is detailed below.
On your Windows PC, go to the desktop. Right-click the Edge shortcut and select Properties. From the taskbar, you can also right-click the browser.Select Properties from the drop-down menu.Note: If you don’t have the Edge shortcut on your desktop screen or taskbar, you can find it in File Explorer’s programs folder. Copy and paste the command “%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs” in the Run dialog box. Then find the Edge Canary shortcut, right-click it, and choose Properties.Select the Shortcut option from the Properties menu. Look for Target in this area.Edit the target box and add this string “–enable-features=msTabSearch” at the end of the existing string. Make sure there’s a gap between the present text string and the one you’re going to add.Apply should be selected. Using the shortcut, relaunch Microsoft Edge. Next to your open tabs, you’ll see a down arrow.You can search from the open tabs by tapping the arrow. You may also toggle the Tab Search box by pressing the Ctrl + Shift + A shortcut keys. Remove the new string from the shortcut by repeating the procedures after the feature is rolled out to the public or you want to deactivate it.
Sadly, this trick will not work on macOS. browsers have become more feature-packed. The majority of popular browsers have received exciting new features. Tab Search is one of these features.
