The Oppo A57 will have all the signature features such as great selfie camera, thin body dimensions and a metallic build. According to the leak, the phone will have a “remarkable technological breakthrough that will change how the world sees the smartphone photography.”
The A57 has already been released in India, it comes with a whopping 16 MP selfie camera and a 13MP rear shooter. It also comes with a 5.2 inch screen that has HD resolution. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 435 with a generous 3GB RAM and 32 GB expandable internal storage. The system runs on Color OS 3.0, Oppo’s custom user interface, on top of Android 6.0. Lastly, 2900mAH battery has been fitted in the 7.7mm thin body. Oppo’s products have been catching on in Kenya, the company hopes to build on this momentum with the release of the A57. Being ranked as the 4th largest smartphone manufacturer in sales globally, there is no doubt that Oppo is a successful company that can replicate the same winning formula in Kenya. More competitors in the market means larger variety for the consumer and we sure welcome this move from Oppo. We only have to wait just a few days to get the phone in Kenyan shelves countrywide.
