The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 12 (Go Edition) and is powered by the Helio A22 SoC. It has a large display system comprising a 6.52″ HD+ screen with a notch for the 5MP selfie camera. The back side sports a dual camera system comprising an 8MP primary camera and a QVGA unit. It is made of a leather texture that houses the fingerprint scanner. It has a large battery of 5,000 mAh that supports charging through a micro-USB port of up to 10W. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 512GB. The new phone in two memory configurations of 2GB/32GB, which retails at $91, and 3GB/32GB priced at $103. The two devices will however retail at a discount of $6 due to the ongoing Diwali celebration for a specific period. The phone comes in colors Black, Light Blue, or Light Green and will be available from October 17 through Xiaomi’s official Indian website, Flipkart, Mi.com, and offline retail stores across the country.
