The South Korean manufacturer wants to provide upgrades even for watches manufactured in the year 2018. The only catch here is that not every smartwatch will be equipped with the most advanced functions. The smartwatch that will benefit from the update includes:

Galaxy Watch Galaxy Watch Active Galaxy Watch Active 2Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatches

The latest firmware is already available for download via the Galaxy Wearable app, depending on your location. You must first provide the appropriate Bluetooth versions. The extended case detection should work on the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 as a highlight. The watch delivers an SOS notification to previously specified contacts when it senses a fall. Additionally, several Samsung smartwatches now support Group calls. Users can invite friends or family members to join a challenge and work together or compete against one another. The watch faces that debuted with the Galaxy Watch 4 will be available with the upgrade on other Samsung smartwatches. By just touching on the corresponding watch face, owners can select multiple backgrounds and text colors.
