The Galaxy S21 FE would take over one of the most contentious elements of the standard Galaxy S21 after debuting on Geekbench and receiving its certification for marketing in Thailand. For those unfamiliar with Samsung’s practices, it’s worth noting that the company has a pattern of releasing smartphones in Europe with an Exynos processor. The other regions do get snapdragon-equipped smartphones. Is that going to change? Exynos processors are generally less efficient, less efficient, and, most importantly, more prone to thermal throttling. To be clear, we always prefer a Snapdragon-powered smartphone. It should be noted that the Galaxy S20 FE came in two versions at our place last year. One is a 4G device with an Exynos 990 processor, while the other is a 5G device with a Snapdragon 865 processor. Samsung has entirely abandoned the promotion of 4G smartphones on its mid-and high-end devices this year, owing to its new Exynos SoCs. As a result, we have no illusions regarding the Snapdragon model’s availability in our area.
