The Odyssey G9 takes advantage of a  34-inch OLED screen with a 21:9 format, 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution, and a refresh rate of 175 Hz. There is also a VESA DisplayHDR 400, a True Black certification, FreeSync Premium, and 99.3% coverage. This OLED screen is developed in conjunction with Quantum Dot technology; thus, Samsung Electronics is knocking on the same door. Incorporating a properly operating system inside the display is a pleasant surprise and a chance for Samsung to set itself apart from Alienware. Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming, the two most popular cloud gaming services, are now available thanks to the Samsung Gaming Hub. So, without a PC or console, you can play Fortnite and all the other games in the library using a simple controller. Finally, despite the product’s inherently imposing size, Samsung has decided to include a Micro HDMI (2.1) and a miniDP 1.4 in addition to a USB-C connector. The Samsung Odyssey Oled G8 will be offered in the fourth quarter of 2022. The cost of the product has not been made public by the brand.
