Chinese tech giant Huawei is working on adding another member to the Nova 8 family. The smartphone specifications, to be called Huawei nova 8i, were leaked ahead of its launch. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset.
Expected features of Huawei Nova 8i
Nova 8i, Full HD+ resolution and DCI-P3 colour gamut ?? will have a 6.67-inch LCD panel and offer a 94.7% screen-to-body ratio. The screen will come with a hole screen design for the front camera. Inside a circular area at the back of the phone will be a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64 MP primary lens with an f/1.9 aperture, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view, a 2 MP macro sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The smartphone, powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 mobile platform, will run Emui 11 based on Android 10. The company is expected to update the phone to HarmonyOS later. The phone will have a 4,300mAh battery with support for 66W Huawei SuperCharge, which performs 0-100% charge in 38 minutes. Huawei Nova 8i will have three colour options: silver, black and blue, and will go primarily to Southeast Asian markets. It is not yet known whether the device will be available globally.
