This was one of the most often requested features, according to WhatsApp. According to a recent official statement from WhatsApp, “one of the top requests we’ve constantly heard is the opportunity to add additional people to a conversation, so today we’re gently rolling out the ability to join up to 512 individuals to a group.” Additionally, WhatsApp is developing a feature that would let users download all of their chat histories from a third-party provider and save it locally on their smartphones. Users have the option to back up all communications to Google Drive at the moment, but you don’t have complete control.
